Heart Shaped Cupcakes

Make adorable heart-shaped cupcakes with this easy trick! Perfect for Valentine's Day or any romantic occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Red food coloring
  • Heart-shaped cupcake liners
  • Heart-shaped cupcake mold or cookie cutter
  • Your favorite frosting e
  • g
  • , buttercream

Instructions:

Warm up the oven to 350F 175C and put heart-shaped cupcake liners in a muffin tin

Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl with a whisk

Put away

In a different bowl, beat the sugar and softened butter together until the mixture is light and fluffy

One at a time, add the eggs and beat well after each one

Add the vanilla extract and mix well

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing them in with the milk every so often

Start with the dry ingredients and end with the milk

Don't mix any further than that

Just add a few drops of red food coloring to the batter to make it the color you want

Mix until the color is spread out evenly

About two-thirds of the way to the top of each heart-shaped cupcake liner, fill it with batter

After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 15 to 18 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

First, let the cupcakes cool in the pan for a few minutes

Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely

If you have a heart-shaped cupcake mold or cookie cutter, you can cut out a heart from the middle of each cupcake once they are cool

Put your favorite frosting inside the heart-shaped hole

You can add heart-shaped sprinkles or edible glitter to the frosting if you want to make it look fancier

Enjoy your cupcakes that are shaped like hearts!
